GARDEN NEIGHBORHOOD CHARITIES HOSTS 21st ANNUAL 'TABLE OF FRIENDS':

On Monday, November 21, TD Garden's philanthropic arm, Garden Neighborhood Charities, will officially kick-off the holiday season with its annual charitable event, 'Table of Friends'. Over the last two decades, Garden Neighborhood Charities has served more than 11,000 hot meals, donated more than $60,000 and helped hundreds to move beyond shelter into permanent housing through its support of Boston's Housing First initiative via its event partners, Friends of Boston's Homeless. This event brings together volunteers from TD Garden, Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics and officials from the city and state, including Mayor Martin J. WalshAmy Latimer, TD Garden President and Garden Neighborhood Charities Executive Director; Kim Jacobs, Boston Bruins Foundation Board Member & wife of Charlie Jacobs, CEO for Delaware North's Boston Holdings; Cam Neely, Boston Bruins President; Boston Police, Fire and EMS representatives; Bruins, Celtics Front Office & AlumniWith the support of these great volunteers and Delaware North's Sportservice, which operates the arena's food, beverage and retail services, this event provides 1200 lbs. of turkey, 1000 lbs. of stuffing, 40 gallons of gravy, 850 lbs. of mashed potatoes, 500 lbs. of carrots, 100 lbs. of green beans, 115 dozen rolls and 10 gallons of cranberry sauce for a full Thanksgiving spread for 'Table of Friends' guests.
